- No One Can Challenge Your Hard Work
Genshin Impact occasionally features special game modes for eligible players. Theatre Mechanicus, Warrior’s Spirit, Hyakunin Ikki, mini-games like these feature challenges with varying difficulty. While these events are fun to partake in, their duration expires after some time. However, there is one game mode that is permanent in the game, Spiral Abyss.
The day I unlocked the abyss, I started investing in my characters. Though I didn’t clear the abyss with 36 stars on my first attempt, I managed to reach Floor 12, which was a massive achievement for me at that time. Testing unique team compositions, performing optimal team rotations, and ascending weapons, Genshin consumed a part of my life. What can I do better? Which character should I try next? Should I use this weapon? Questions like these always bothered me, but I never gave up and eventually got 36 stars in the abyss.
Anything is possible with enough hard work and dedication. If you are a beginner or a veteran planning to take on the abyss and still think it’s necessary to have 5-star characters to clear it, then you, my friend, are wrong. In this Free to Play Spiral Abyss guide, I will show you my approach to clearing the abyss.
I will list the characters you need to focus on, the artifacts you need to farm, and the stats you need on your characters to clear the challenging floors. No 5-star characters, Welkin, or Battle pass, you can clear the Spiral abyss without spending a dime.
Free Characters at Your Disposal
Currently, Genshin Impact provides eight playable characters to a newcomer. There are plenty of events that giveaway characters, but not everyone can participate in them. That’s why I’ll stick to guaranteed characters. Feel free to tweak your characters’ builds according to your team compositions.
With so many team combinations on offer, it’s enough to make your head spin. However, I feel the strategies I’ve mentioned below are optimal. Here’s a quick overview of the recommended setups.
Traveler
- Sword – Iron Sting
- Artifact – Viridescent Venerer ( Energy recharge %, Elemental Mastery, Elemental Mastery )
- Elemental burst duration – 6 s
- Elemental burst cooldown – 15 s
- Elemental burst cost – 60
The Traveler is the main protagonist of the story. You will start with them as the only character and will be able to harness the power of other elements.
You can interact with the Statue of the Seven to use the power of Anemo, Geo, Electro, or Dendro. You can use the Viridescent Venerer artifact on the Traveler ( Anemo ) to reduce enemies’ elemental resistance.
You will see a small arrow on top of nearby enemies to know the direction of your next attack. You can easily miss Traveler’s burst, so aim carefully and then use it. Depending on the Traveler’s element, you can tweak your team compositions.
Equipping them with the Dendro element will unlock access to Dendro reactions like Hyperbloom, Bloom, Burgeon, Burning, or Catalyze. I suggest going over our Dendro reactions guide to know more about them.
Kaeya
- Sword – Amenoma Kageuchi
- Artifact – Noblesse Oblige ( ATK %, Cryo damage bonus %, CRIT rate %)
- Elemental burst duration – 8 s
- Elemental burst cooldown – 15 s
- Elemental burst cost – 60
Kaeya is a 4-star Cryo sword character who can be unlocked after the “Crash course” quest in the Archon quest in Prologue, Act 1 – The Outlander Who Caught the Wind. The low cooldown on his elemental skill helps to generate energy particles and is immensely useful in applying Cryo on enemies. You can freeze the enemies or break Electro, Pyro, or Hydro shields on enemies.
Noelle
- Claymore – Whiteblind
- Artifact – Husk of Opulent Dreams ( Energy Recharge %, Geo damage bonus %, CRIT rate %)
- Elemental burst duration – 15 s
- Elemental burst cooldown – 15 s
- Elemental burst cost – 60
You will obtain Noelle from the “Beginner’s Wish” banner. Noelle is a 4-star Geo claymore character who is guaranteed on that banner. Once you have made 20 wishes on the banner, it will disappear. The banner has no expiration, so you can accumulate Acquaint fates to wish on the banner.
Noelle can replace Barbara as a healer in your team. If you face enemies that can apply Electro on you and trap you in a stun lock, it’s better to use Noelle to shield yourself. You can also use Noelle as your main DPS if you choose the Geo element on Traveler.Â
Lisa
- Catalyst – Hakushin Ring
- Artifact – Thundering Fury ( ER %, Electro damage bonus %, CRIT rate %)
- Elemental burst duration – 15 s
- Elemental burst cooldown – 20 s
- Elemental burst cost – 80
Lisa is a 4-star Electro catalyst character who becomes permanently available after completing the “Sparks Amongst the Pages” quest of the Prologue, Act 1- The Outlander Who Caught the Wind quest line. You can use her to trigger Electro-charged or Overloaded reactions.
Overload reactions’ explosions can be used to break Geo shields. Do keep in mind that if you have the Electro status on your character and an enemy does a Pyro attack, your character will be affected by the damage.
Amber
- Bow – Favonius Warbow
- Artifact – Noblesse Oblige ( ATK %, Pyro damage bonus %, CRIT rate %)
- Elemental burst duration – 2 s
- Elemental burst cooldown – 12 s
- Elemental burst cost –Â 40
Amber is the first character you obtain in the game. She’s a 4-star Pyro bow character who will join your roster in the “Wind-Riding Knight” quest of the Prologue, Act 1 – The Outlander Who Caught the Wind quest line. You can use her to shoot Ruin guards’ eyes in the spiral abyss or activate Pyro totems in the overworld.
On top of that, you can use her Baron bunny to taunt enemies or use the Anemo Traveler’s burst on it to trigger a Pyro Swirl reaction on the bunny’s explosion. Deploying the Baron bunny gives you a time window to reposition your character in the arena.
Barbara
- Catalyst – Prototype Amber
- Artifact – Ocean-Hued Clam ( Energy Recharge %, HP %, HP %)
- Elemental skill duration – 15 s
- Elemental skill cooldown- 32 s
- Elemental burst cooldown – 20 s
- Elemental burst cost – 80
Barbara is a 4-star Hydro catalyst character who becomes available after you reach Adventure rank 18 and complete the ” A Long Shot” quest of the Prologue, Act 3 – Song of the Dragon and Freedom. Barbara applies the Wet status on your character.
Watch out for characters that can perform elemental attacks to Freeze or stun-lock your characters. Unless your characters need healing, you shouldn’t use her elemental skill near enemies who deal Electro damage like Slimes, Electro Fatui Cicin mages, etc.
Xiangling
- Polearm – The Catch
- Artifact – Emblem of the Severed Fate ( Energy Recharge %, Pyro damage bonus %, CRIT rate %)
- Elemental burst duration – 10 s
- Elemental burst cooldown – 20 s
- Elemental burst cost – 80
Xiangling is a 4-star Pyro polearm character you can obtain after clearing Floor 3, Chamber 3 of the Spiral abyss. An outstanding off-field damage character who can do area-wide damage. You can deploy Gouba to have extra Pyro application and attack from range with her Pyronado. I would suggest building energy recharge on her to benefit more from her elemental burst.
Collei
- Bow – Prototype Crescent
- Artifact – Deepwood Memories ( Energy Recharge %, Dendro damage bonus %, CRIT rate %)
- Elemental burst duration – 6 s
- Elemental burst cooldown – 15 s
- Elemental burst cost – 60
Collei is a 4-star Dendro bow character who will join your party after you clear Floor 4, Chamber 3 of the spiral abyss. That’s a good reward for beginner players because once you clear the fourth floor, you need two teams to clear the abyss.
You can use her to trigger Dendro-related reactions like Hyperbloom, Bloom, or Catalyze reactions. I used her to get some off-field damage with her elemental burst and shut down Ruin guards with her charged attacks.
Free Weapons You Can Get
These are the weapons that you can get for free in the game. Most of them are craftable weapons that can be forged at the Blacksmith’s shop. You can use any of these weapons on your characters. I wouldn’t recommend building a Physical DPS character besides Eula because Physical damage meta has been out of the picture for so long, and I assume it will stay the same. Focusing on elemental teams that maximize reaction or elemental damage is better.
Swords
- Prototype Rancour ( Adventure Rank 10 reward )
- Iron Sting
- Amenoma Kageuchi
Bows
- Favonius Warbow ( A Long Shot quest reward )
- Hamayumi Bow
- Prototype Crescent
- Compound Bow
Claymores
- Prototype Archaic
- Snow-Tombed Starsilver
- Whiteblind
- Katsuragikiri Nagamasa
Polearms
- Crescent Pike
- Dragonspine Spear
- Prototype Starglitter
- Kitain Cross Spear
- The Catch
Catalysts
- Hakushin Ring
- Frostbearer
- Mappa Mare
- Prototype Amber
Real Quick, Keep These In Mind
There are a few intricate details that you need to keep in mind to avoid losing a chamber. Let’s quickly go over them.
- Benedictions are buffs that apply to an entire floor or a specific chamber. Choosing the right Benediction according to your requirements is a must, and it’s better to go with a Benediction that persists on the floor.
- Characters’ elemental bursts are game-changing. You need to pay attention to the Energy recharge on them to ace through formidable chambers.
- Ley line disorders are optional, not mandatory. You can proceed with a different team and clear the floor without using Ley Line disorder. However, I recommend keeping a synergy between your team composition and Ley Line disorder to benefit from additional buffs.
- I’ve suggested team compositions, showcased floor runs, and explained my strategy to tackle the floors. Before proceeding into the Spiral abyss, I advise investing in your characters’ talents, artifacts, weapons, and levels.
Abyss Corridor : 72 Stars
Let’s go through the early floors of the abyss that, consist of Floors 1 to 8. The Abyss Corridor features one-time rewards that don’t reset like the Abyssal Moon Spire. Starting from Floor 5, you need two teams to proceed in the abyss, and I highly recommend having one healer in each team.
Floor 1
Leyline Disorder
- All team members’ Pyro damage increased by 75 %
- The reaction damage of the Overloaded reaction increases by 200 %
Challenge Target
- 1/2/3 stars if the challenge time is longer than 90/150/210 seconds
Enemies – Level 25
Chamber 1 | Chamber 2 | Chamber 3 |
|
|
|
Strategy
Team – Traveler ( Anemo ), Amber, Barbara/Noelle, Kaeya
The Ley Line disorder favors Pyro team compositions where you need to have at least one Pyro character. In my opinion, the floor isn’t tough, as you can easily group the enemies using Anemo Traveler’s elemental burst. You can apply Pyro on the wooden shields to deplete their health.
On top of that, you can Swirl the Pyro element to spread it to nearby enemies or re-apply it on the shield. As for the last chamber, focus on the Fatui Cicin Mage and get rid of her as fast as possible. You’ll be in trouble if she charges up her shield. You can choose to go with Barbara if you have Hakushin Ring; otherwise, Noelle will be pretty good.
Floor 2
Leyline Disorder
- All team members’ Cryo damage increases by 75 %
- The Frozen status’s duration increases on the enemies.
Challenge Target
- 1/2/3 stars if the remaining time is longer than 60/90/180 seconds for Chamber 1 and 3.
- 1/2/3 stars if the target defense is greater than 20/40/60 % in Chamber 2
Enemies – Level 40
Chamber 1 | Chamber 2 | Chamber 3 |
|
|
|
Strategy
Team – Traveler ( Anemo ), Amber, Barbara/Noelle, Kaeya
Slimes won’t be a problem to deal with. However, Hydro Abyss mages should be taken out first, as they can trap your active character inside a bubble. Use Kaeya’s elemental skill to freeze them or Amber’s Pyro attacks to reduce their shield. I suggest using Pyro/Cryo/Anemo attacks to remove their shields.
You can also use Electro attacks to trigger an Electro-charged reaction among the slimes. Once Hydro Samachurls summon on the field, group them with Anemo Traveler’s burst to finish them off. Hydro Samachurls can heal their peers on the battlefield, which you don’t want.
Floor 3
Ley Line Disorder
- The Swirl reaction damage increases by 300 %, and its area-of-effect expands by 100 %
- All party members’ Anemo damage increases by 75%
Challenge Target
- 1/2/3 stars if the challenge time is longer than 60/90/180 seconds
Enemies – Level 45
Chamber 1 | Chamber 2 | Chamber 3 |
|

|
Strategy
Team – Traveler ( Anemo ), Amber, Barbara/Noelle, Kaeya
You can easily group up the enemies with Anemo Traveler’s burst and defeat them. The Large Cryo Slime’s shield can be destroyed with Pyro attacks. Notice a small arrow hovering over a nearby enemy and use Anemo Traveler’s elemental burst. Their Gust Surge will suck enemies on its way, which covers quite a portion of the arena.
As for the Hilichurl shooter standing around the arena’s perimeter, simple charged attacks will be sufficient to throw them off. Once you are in the third chamber, prioritize the Ruin guard, and use Amber’s charged attacks on its eye. You need to hit its eye twice to shut it down temporarily. Avoid getting hit by Cryo attacks, as it’ll increase your stamina consumption rate. Once you clear this floor, Xiangling becomes available.
Floor 4
Ley Line Disorder
- All party members’ Electro damage increases by 75 %
- The Electro-charged reaction damage increases by 150 %, and its AoE increases by 100 %
Chamber Target
- 1/2/3 stars if the challenge time is longer than 60/120/180 seconds for Chamber 1 and Chamber 3
- 1/2/3 stars if the target defense is greater than 20/40/60 %
Enemies – Level 50
Chamber 1 | Chamber 2 | Chamber 3 |
|
|
|
Strategy
Team – Traveler ( Anemo ), Kaeya, Noelle, Lisa
I would suggest using the Anemo Traveler’s burst on Hilichurl shooters first and grouping all the enemies that come your way. They can apply the Cryo element on you, and the Hydro Abyss mage’s attacks can freeze you on the battlefield.
To deplete Hydro Abyss mages’ shields, use Kaeya’s and Lisa’s skills. You can freeze them or trigger Electro-charged reactions. Prioritize the Hydro Samachurl as they can heal other enemies. Once you clear this floor, Collei will join your roster.
Floor 5
Ley Line Disorder
- The attack and defense increase by 35 % if the character’s health is greater than 50 %
- The Normal attack speed and movement speed increase by 20 % if the health is greater than 80 %
- The CRIT Rate increases by 10 %, and CRIT damage increases by 20 % if the health is greater than 95 %
Challenge Target
- 1/2/3 stars if the remaining challenge time is longer than 180/300/420 seconds for Chamber 1 and Chamber 3
- 1/2/3 stars if the remaining challenge time is longer than 90/180/240 seconds for Chamber 2

Strategy
Team 1Â – Traveler ( Anemo ), Xiangling, Amber, Collei
Focus on Hilichurl shooters and deploy Amber and Xiangling’s skills to melt Cryo shields on slimes. Try to focus the slime with the freezing aura, as it can temporarily trap your character. I suggest using Anemo Traveler’s burst on Hilichurl shooters and letting it pass through the arena, sucking enemies in.
You can debuff enemies affected by Cryo elemental node by applying Pyro. Take out the Fatui Mage with Electro aura to avoid getting an Energy debuff. Prioritize her first, as her aura can drain your character’s Energy.
Team 2Â – Barbara, Lisa, Noelle, Kaeya
The best way to deplete a Pyro shield is to hug the enemy while Barbara’s elemental skill is active. I know it’s risky, but it will help to take out the Abyss Mage with the Smoldering flames aura that will damage your active character over time.
It doesn’t affect all the characters, so if you are impacted by it, you can switch to another character to pause its effect on the affected character.
As for enemies buffed by the Pyro elemental node, apply Hydro on them. In the third chamber, freeze the Fatui agent with Barbara and Kaeya and take him down, as his fireballs can hurt your character.
Floor 6
Ley Line Disorder
- With ten maximum stacks, all party members’ attack and defense increase by 6 % for each Elemental burst used. Once you reach five stacks or above, the character’s Normal attack speed and movement speed increase by 30 %.
Challenge Target
- 1/2/3 stars if the remaining challenge time is longer than 30/60/120 seconds for Chamber 1.
- 1/2/3 stars if the remaining challenge time is longer than 90/180/270 seconds for Chamber 2.

Strategy
Team 1Â – Traveler ( Anemo ), Noelle, Amber, Xiangling
Focus on the Hilichurl shooters and use Gust Surge to group them across the arena. You can use Pyro attacks on Cryo whopper flowers to remove their shield. Focusing on Hydro Samachurls and Cryo Abyss mage will help you avoid getting frozen and stop the Samachurls from healing enemies.
You can use Noelle to break Geo shields, but I suggest deploying Gouba or Baron Bunny to taunt Mitachurls and attack by sneaking behind them. Saving Noelle’s burst for the Lawachurl would be better. Use Noelle’s burst to deplete Lawachurls’ Geo shield and take out the Lawachurl with everything you have.
Team 2Â – Barbara, Collei, Lisa, Kaeya
Prioritize Anemo Samachurls, as they can crowd-control your active character and restrict your movement. In case whopper flowers get their shield up, use Hydro on them. Dendro Samachurls with Anemo Samachurls can limit your movement, so take them out as soon as possible. Once a Pyro slime with Smoldering flames aura spawns, defeat it to avoid Pyro damage. The last chamber is easy as you have to take out Pyro enemies.
Floor 7
Ley Line Disorder
- All party members’ CRIT damage increased by 120 %
- With a cooldown of 15 seconds, the critical hits will generate Elemental Particles and Orbs.

- 1/2/3 stars if the challenge time is longer than 120/300/390 seconds for Chamber 2.

Strategy
Team 1Â – Traveler ( Anemo ), Noelle, Amber, Xiangling
Prioritize Hydrogunners as they can heal other enemies. You can use Pyro or Cryo attacks to deplete Electro shields. As for the Cryo shields, Amber or Xiangling would be enough. Pay attention to their attacks and avoid getting hit multiple times. Focus on the Geochanter in the second chamber to prevent him from getting a shield. In the last chamber, focus on the Hydrogunner to stop him from healing other enemies.
Team 2Â – Barbara, Collei, Lisa, Kaeya
Hug the Pyro gunslinger while Barbara’s elemental skill is active to remove his shield. You can also use her Normal attacks to achieve the same. Try not to get too close to Anemoboxer because he can punch your active character to death, so prioritizing him is better. In chamber 2, Geochanter bracers should be defeated first. The last chamber is pretty much a DPS check; you can cheese through those enemies.
Floor 8
Ley Line Disorder
- The attack and defense increase by 50 % if the character’s health is less than 60 %
- The Normal attack speed and movement speed increase by 30 % if the health is less than 45 %
- The CRIT rate increases by 20 %, and CRIT damage increases by 40 % if the health is less than 30 %

Strategy
Team 1Â – Traveler ( Anemo ), Noelle, Amber, Xiangling
Take out the Abyss mage with the slowing waters aura. Attack the Ruin guard’s eye for the second chamber with Amber’s charged shot to temporarily shut it down. It’s better to group up nearby hilichurls with the Ruin guard with Anemo Traveler’s burst to save time and use Pyro attacks on enemies buffed by the Cryo elemental node. The Cryo regisvine is pretty easy to take out. Use Amber and Xiangling’s attacks to destroy its core and utilize other characters’ elemental bursts.
Team 2Â – Barbara, Collei, Lisa, Kaeya
Focus on the Pyro Abyss mage with the Tracking fire ball aura and use Barbara or Kaeya to destroy the shield. In the second chamber, use Collei’s charged attack to halt the Ruin guard and deploy her burst with Lisa’s to trigger Catalyze reactions. To remove the Pyro buff on enemies, use Barbara’s Hydro attacks. Use Barbara, Kaeya, or Lisa to destroy the Pyro regisvine’s core and deploy their elemental bursts.
Rewards
If you already have Xiangling or Collei, you will receive their Stella Fortuna to unlock an extra constellation. You can get the following rewards after completing the Abyss Corridor:
- Mora x 660,000
- Primogems x 2,400
- Wanderer’s Advice x 168
- Adventurer’s Experience x 126
- Mystic Enhancement Ore x 108
- Northlander Polearm Billet x 1
- Domain Reliquaries: Tier 1 ( 3 ), Tier 2 ( 5 ), and Tier 3 ( 15 )
- Xiangling
- Collei
Abyssal Moon Spire : 36 Stars
Abyssal Moon Spire resets twice a month with rewards similar to Abyss Corridor. On top of Benedictions and Ley Line disorders, you also get the Blessing of the Abyssal Moon buff. You might not be able to 36-star the abyss without heavy investment in your characters, but I believe that Floor 12 can be reached. Ultimately, it depends on the type of enemies you will face and what kind of buffs will be available at that moment.
The Abyssal Moon Spire features the following rewards:
- Mora x 585,000
- Primogems x 600
- Adventurer’s Experience x 42
- Hero’s Wit x 24
- Mystic Enhancement Ore x 72
- Domain Reliquaries: Tier 1 ( 4 ) and Tier 2 ( 8 )
Achievements
There are a few achievements that are exclusive to the Spiral abyss. Once you finish the Domains and Spiral Abyss: Series 1 challenges, you will obtain a special namecard, Deep and Dark. In total, you can get 100 Primogems for completing these achievements.
Achievements
- Down We Go – You don’t need 36 stars in the Abyssal Moon Spire to get this achievement. As long as you clear Floor 12 of the Spiral Abyss, you are eligible for it.
- Down to Dodge – Pay attention to enemies’ attack patterns and avoid incoming damage.
- My Precious – A character like Sucrose, Venti, Kaedehara Kazuha, or Zhongli would be amazing to crowd control the enemies.
- Abyssal Crusador – There is no need to get 36 stars in the Abyssal Moon Spire. The achievements take Abyss Corridor’s 72 stars into account to check the player’s eligibility.
Must-Have Characters; Let These Characters Carry Your Team
5-Star Characters
Quoting a friend, “I’m not bitter about not getting Raiden Shogun; I’m very bitter about it.” Let’s be real. The Spiral abyss is a real pain to complete if you are targeting 36 stars in it. I’ve lost count of times I’ve restarted some chambers because I messed up the rotation or the burst didn’t crit.
Some characters have higher meta potential than others, and they are the ones who dominate Tier lists. I was lucky enough to get good characters early in the game and started investing in them. Some 5-star characters are outstanding in the abyss and can help you easily clear challenging floors.
Genshin Impact periodically runs two-phase banners where they feature two limited characters with three other 4-star characters. As a meta player, it becomes important for me to wish on characters that can enhance the team’s damage output and help me clear the Abyss faster.
At times, it’s tough to win the 50-50, and you may end up with a standard character, so the only option is to save for months and offer all the primogems you have to these character banners.
- Raiden Shogun – Reign of Serenity
- Ganyu – Adrift in the Harbor
- Kamisato Ayaka – The Heron’s Court
- Sangonomiya Kokomi – Drifting Luminescence
- Nahida – The Moongrass’ Enlightenment
- Hu Tao – Moment of Bloom
- Yae Miko – Everbloom Violet
- Kaedehara Kazuha – Leaves in the Wind
- Kamisato Ayato – Azure Excursion
- Zhongli – Gentry of Hermitage
- Alhaitham – Caution in Confidence
- Yelan – Discerner of Enigmas
- Eula – Born of Ocean Swell
- Arataki Itto – Oni’s Royale
- Venti – Ballad in Goblets
4-Star Characters
These are some of the characters that I think are must-haves if you plan to 36-star the abyss. I don’t think you need a team with 5-star characters, as most of them have niche roles. That is why having good 4-star characters is always recommended. You can use them to support your main DPS character and ace through any floor in the abyss.
Paimon’s Bargains
Who doesn’t love free resources? I’m an absolute fan of Paimon’s Bargains shop because of the discounted fates and availability of 4-star characters. These characters are available in pairs, and each one can be bought for 34 Masterless Starglitter. There are plenty of primogems in the overworld, and throughout the game, you will be wishing for promoted characters.
Once you have collected enough Starglitter, you can purchase any of these characters. Though the availability of these characters depends on the month, you can save the Starglitter to get these characters. Here are my top picks from Paimon’s Bargains shop:
- Bennett – May and November
- Xingqiu – March and September
- Beidou – February and August
- Fischl – January and July
All these characters are top-tier supporting characters that excel in providing buffs, off-field damage, or healing to the team. I highly recommend prioritizing these characters as they can help you massively in the Spiral abyss.
Frequently Asked Questions
Question:Â How good are Archons like Raiden Shogun, Zhongli, Nahida, and Venti in the Spiral abyss?
Answer:Â They are amazing! I’m an Archon collector. I want all the Archons and love their abilities.
Question:Â Where is the Spiral Abyss located?
Answer:Â The Spiral abyss is located at the Musk reef. You can travel through a warp gate on the Cape Oath.
Question:Â Which reactions do you focus on in the Spiral Abyss?
Answer: I usually use team compositions focusing on Melt or Vaporize reactions. They have high damage multipliers that can delete enemies’ health bars. Since the introduction of Dendro reactions, I’ve fallen in love with Catalyze reactions too.
No One Can Challenge Your Hard Work
“You aren’t jealous of their skill; you are jealous of their resources.” A friend said these words to me when speaking about big spenders in Genshin. There will always be people who will have better weapons, artifacts, and characters. Life is like an infinite ladder that never ends.
Someone’s better than you, you are better than someone, and the cycle continues. You don’t need to compete against other people in the abyss, just yourself. Try a new team, execute your practiced rotation, and keep improvising your approach. One day, you will reach the end of the abyss and earn 36 stars in it.
I suggest checking our character and weapon guides to learn more about team building. Some fantastic characters in the game can carry you through the abyss and easily get 3-stars in chambers. Characters like Raiden Shogun, Sangonomiya Kokomi, Zhongli, Nahida, Venti, and Eula can clear through groups of enemies in an instant.
