Genshin Impact Bow Guide

Genshin Impact is an open-world RPG that should already be downloaded on your PC, Phone, or PlayStation. The game starts with two twins fighting a powerful, mysterious God. After picking the twin you want to adventure with, your sibling gets taken from you. Now you must work alongside Paimon, your floating pet, to try and find your relative. You have many monsters to defeat, lands to explore, puzzles to solve, and more.

To save your kidnapped sibling, you must be able to protect yourself. There are many weapons in Genshin but, in this Genshin Impact Bow guide, we’re going to focus on bows. We’ll talk about their stats, strength, rarities, and where or how to get them. Let’s review some of the other weapons that appear in the world of Teyvat first.

Weapons

Weapons are one of the most essential things in Genshin Impact. They add to your attack and elemental skills so that you can fight monsters without breaking a sweat. The amazing thing about weapons is that they all have different designs and buffs to help with your journey.

There are five different types of weapons. Bows, Swords, Claymores, Polearms, and Catalysts.

  • Bows are long-distance weapons that help you hit enemies and other high-up targets. They’re also great for hitting explosive barrels without getting blown up yourself. Tartaglia, Yoimiya, and Fischl are great examples of bow users.
  • Swords might be skinny, but they’re very effective if you want to finish a fight quickly. Genshin Characters like Kazuha, Albedo, and Ayato specialize in this weapon. This is the first weapon you, the traveler, start out with.
  • Claymores are the big giant swords that make you feel powerful. Beidou, Elua, or Sayu use this weapon for fighting. It might take a while to get going, but it packs a heavy punch.
  • Polearms are long-distance, easy-to-use weapons. Perfect for running around and taking out monsters in no time. Hu Tao, Shenhe, and Thoma are excellent examples of Polearm users.
  • Catalysts are perfect for having an elemental effect on every hit. With Kokomi, Yanfei, or Yae Miko on your team, you’ll be getting elemental reactions left and right. No one can say no to that, am I right?

How to Collect Them

Depending on the weapon’s rarity, it can be hard to find decent weapons for the right character. Bows can be 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 stars. You can find higher-tier weapons on standard or event banners.

If you want an easy 4-Star weapon, try looking at Paimons bargains or the blacksmiths that you can find in Mondstadt, Liyue, and Inazuma.

Lower weapons are easier to find. It’s like you magically stubbed your toe in the middle of nowhere, and you get a two-star sword. Alright, it’s not that easy. You can beat up a gang of Hilichurls to unlock a chest or find them in chests lying around. You can also get them from shops, new characters, or random NPCs.

Stat Bonuses

Weapons have a secondary and passive stat bonus. ATK, DEF, HP, Crit rate, Crit damage, elemental mastery, energy recharge, and physical damage are some of the buffs you can get. Unfortunately, 1 and 2-star weapons can’t get this, but who’s using those anyway?

Passive bonuses help raise ATK, HP, and other buffs like that. It can help the character equipped with the weapon, and sometimes it can help your whole team. To make it stronger, you need to refine your weapon.

Refining is one of the many ways to power up your weapon. You need to get a duplicate weapon and go to the refine screen found under the enhance button.

FAQ

Question: What is the Best Bow in Genshin Impact?

Answer: The best bow is the Amos’ Bow. It has the highest base ATK out of any other bow so far. It’s a five-star weapon that you can only get from wishing on the standard or event banners.

Question: Are Bow Users Any Good in Genshin Impact?

Answer: Bow users can be good in Genshin, depending on how you use them. They are great for long-distance hits and getting things that regular characters can’t reach. However, they can’t fight very well and are mainly used for support. Keep one in your pocket because there are some quests where you need someone with an arrow.

Question: Who is the Best Bow User?

Answer: I think the best bow user in Genshin Impact is Venti. His elemental Burst is very helpful in battle. It rounds up the enemies in one place, and if you add an element to it, it can take out a group in no time. He’s (quite literally) a god.

Final Thought

Genshin has a great variety of weapons, and it makes you want to collect every last one. The bow is an essential weapon in the game, and without it, it might be hard to complete some missions.

Each character has a different element that can help your team, and bows make getting an elemental reaction easier. The team you have can determine whether or not the bow is worthy of being on your team, but personally, the bow will always be a great asset to my team. I recommend that you have at least one bow user on your squad.
