Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds Guide

Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds Guide

Genshin Impact is an open-world RPG game that features a vast in-game world for players to explore. While exploring, players encounter exquisite in-game creatures to battle and collect unique items. Players will engage in challenging battles throughout their journey and consistently upgrade their Genshin Impact character abilities.

As players progress through adventure ranks, their world level will increase, which eventually means enemies will become more formidable. This will make players switch to better weapons to keep up with enemy power levels and defeat them with their might.

So, players need to review strategies with different weapons and adapt a playstyle to help them conquer mighty beasts and even beat end-game content like Spiral Abyss. This makes weapons one of the most essential items in the game.

In this Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds guide, I’ll be going over a fantastic weapon, Lost prayers to the Sacred Winds, and its intricate details. So, buckle up to join me on this journey to increase your game knowledge!

Lost Prayers to the Sacred Winds: Weapon Details

Lost Prayers to the Sacred Winds: Weapon Details

Weapon Details

  • Rarity: 5-star
  • Base Attack: 46
  • Secondary Stat: CRIT Rate
  • Secondary stat value: 7.2%
  • Passive ability: Boundless Blessing
  • Passive ability description: Increases movement speed by 10%. When in battle, gain an 8% elemental damage bonus every 4s. With a maximum of 4 stacks, passive lasts until the character falls or leaves combat.

Lost Prayers to the Sacred Winds is a unique weapon indeed because of its CRIT Rate secondary stat. Not many weapons in the game support CRIT stats in their secondary stats and offer you a massive damage boost in their passives.

Coming to the passive, Lost Prayers to the Sacred Winds will help you position your character with the extra movement speed boost.

And with passive helping in stacking elemental damage over time, that will eventually increase your characters’ damage potential. This makes Lost Prayers to the Sacred Winds one of the best weapons for main damage dealers.

However, one intricacy about passive is that your character needs to be on-field to benefit from it. Because you’ll lose the stacks if you switch your character or fall during combat. So, you better have one off-field healing character to support your primary damage dealer.

As of writing this guide, In Genshin Impact 2.5, Lost Prayers to the Sacred winds is available on Standard Wish “Wanderlust Invocation” banner, and All weapon event wish banners.

Also, this weapon may be a feature on upcoming weapons banners. So, keep an eye on the weapon’s banner if you want to get Lost Prayers to the Sacred winds.

More or less, Lost Prayers to the Sacred Winds is an excellent weapon when you use it on the primary catalyst damage dealer. With additional passive benefits, you’re getting a complete damage boost package.

Lost Prayers to the Sacred Winds: Stat Progression

Weapon Stat Progression

WEAPON STAT PROGRESSION TABLE
Weapon Level Base Attack CRIT Rate ( % Increase)
1 46 7.2
20 122 12.7
40 235 18.5
60 382 24.4
80 532 30.2
90 608 33.1

As you can see, the more you invest in your weapons, the better it becomes. Well, in Lost Prayers to the Sacred Winds, you’re getting plenty of base attack and CRIT rates to support your damage dealer.

Lost Prayers to the Sacred Winds is one of the best catalyst weapons when it comes to primary damage dealers and offers an offensive passive that can help you position your character as well.

So, if you have a weapon with CRIT rate as a secondary stat, then you can equip a CRIT DMG goblet in your artifacts. This will help you to manage CRIT ratios and consistently damage your enemies.

Whether you’re using this weapon on the primary damage dealer or burst damage dealer, Lost Prayers to the Sacred Winds will shine either way.

All you have to do is manage your CRIT ratios on damage dealing catalyst users and pair up with suitable team composition. Why team composition? Because no weapon is evergreen, sometimes you may need to change weapons or even artifacts in specific team compositions.

Refinement Progression

If you have extra copies of the same weapon, you can use them to refine an existing weapon’s passive. You can refine Lost Prayers to the Sacred Winds to boost its passive percentages and further enhance its damage-dealing capabilities.

REFINEMENT STAT PROGRESSION TABLE
Refinement Rank Elemental DMG Bonus (% Increase)
1 8
2 10
3 12
4 14
5 16

But not everyone can afford to refine 5-star weapons. The reason is they’re rare to obtain and need a lot of fates to pull them from gacha.

So, if you’re a free-to-play player or battle pass user, I’ll recommend you not refine Lost Prayers to the Sacred Winds if you have two or three copies. It’s better to benefit from the same weapon in two different teams than having a more substantial version in one team only.

The more versatile your team is, the better chance you have to clear end-game content like Spiral abyss.

So, if you’re using catalyst users as primary damage dealers in Spiral abyss, then you may need two copies of Lost Prayers to the Sacred Winds. That way, you’re able to take the weapon’s passive benefit in two separate teams in the abyss.

Ascension Material

Genshin Impact heavily relies on players to farm unique in-game materials for ascending characters or weapons. So, players need to keep on farming materials periodically if they plan to ascend a weapon in the future.

ASCENSION MATERIAL REQUIREMENT
Dandelion Gladiator Material  Chaos Material Slime Material
Fetters of the Dandelion Gladiator = 5 Chaos Device = 23 Slime Condensate = 15
Chains of the Dandelion Gladiator = 14 Chaos Circuit = 27 Slime Secretions = 23
Shackles of the Dandelion Gladiator = 14 Chaos Core = 41 Slime Condensate = 27
Dream of the Dandelion Gladiator = 6 Total Mora Required for Ascension = 225,000

I’ve listed the ascension material you need for Lost Prayers to the Sacred Winds. As you can see, you need different items of ranging rarity to collect over time if you want to take the weapon to level 90. Looking at it first may seem like a big task, but trust me, it’s not.

All you need to do is take things slowly and work patiently every day. This way, you’ll avoid burnout in the process and casually progress through the game.

You’ll notice that weapons get a minor change in their appearance as you ascend them. Weapons’ color becomes more vibrant and noticeable after ascension, and if you’re someone who loves aesthetics, you will love the appearance changes.

That was all for ascension materials; however, you need around 900+ mystic enhancement ores and approximately 1.2+ million mora to take the weapon to level 90. In general, 5-star weapons consume more resources than 4-star weapons, just like other in-game items that have ranging rarity.

So, I recommend you start farming a bit earlier if you’re planning to wish for a weapon.

Lost Prayers to the Sacred Winds: Characters

Let’s go over characters that can use Lost Prayers to the Sacred Winds in detail. Before that, I’d like to make a few things clear. I’ll be giving my own remarks based on how I approach my team building. I recommend you to go over these and adopt a playstyle that suits you.

This way, you’ll be experimenting and learning about different character abilities and their uses in team compositions.

As of writing this guide, Genshin Impact 2.5 has the following characters that can use Lost Prayers to the Sacred Winds weapon:-

Barbara

Barbara

Barbara is a 4-star hydro catalyst user whose abilities specialize in healing characters. Her abilities scale off HP%, and they become more potent as you unlock her constellations. You can use Lost Prayers to the Sacred Winds on her if you’re willing to use her as the primary damage dealer.

However, I’ll recommend you instead to build her for a healing role because that’s where she’ll shine the best. My approach to building characters is to build them on their kit’s basis so that I can take the most benefit of their abilities.

  • 4-star weapon alternatives: Prototype Amber, Thrilling tales of the Dragon Slayer (3-star), Favonius Codex

Klee

Lost Prayer to the Sacred Wind Klee

Tadada! She’s one of my favorite characters. Klee is a 5-star pyro character specializing in dealing damage in a melee range and acting as the main damage dealer. Lost Prayers to the Sacred Winds is one of her best weapons, and its passive’s movement buff will help you position Klee from time to time.

There is a steep learning curve when playing her, but you can deal quite a lot of damage once you get over that. So, the CRIT rate from Lost Prayers to the Sacred Winds will surely come in handy along with its passive benefits.

  • 4-star weapon alternatives:  The Widsith, Dodoco Tales, Solar Pearl

Lisa

Lost Prayer to the Sacred Wind Lisa

Lisa is a 4-star electro character whose abilities are focused on electro application and providing off-field damage in burst duration. By holding her skill, she can deal electro damage in a small area around her, which will help in reaction related to electro.

Lost Prayers to the Sacred Winds is a good option for her if you plan to use her as the main damage dealer. However, remember that you’ll need to position her and maintain a distance while holding her skill, to avoid getting staggered in the process.

  • 4-star weapon alternatives:  Mappa Mare, The Widsith, Oathsworn Eye

Mona

Mona

Mona is a 5-star hydro character specializing in providing off-field hydro application and damage boost to your team. She’s extremely good at dealing with burst damage and also apt in support roles for the team.

Lost Prayers to the Sacred Winds is an excellent choice if you want to utilize her burst to deal an insane amount of damage in a reverse-vaporized reaction.

However, make sure you’re performing team rotations correctly and successfully trigger elemental reactions for a remarkable result.

  • 4-star weapon alternatives:  The Widsith, Mappa Mare, Favonius Codex

Ningguang

Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds Ningguang

Ningguang is a 4-star geo character who acts as a primary damage dealer. As an owner of C6 triple crown Ningguang, I can say she becomes insanely good with constellations.

Now, on top of that, with Lost Prayers on her, you can equip a CRIT DMG goblet on her. This will help manage her CRIT ratios and further boost her damage potential. Trust me; she’s super good even though she’s a 4-star character.

  • 4-star weapon alternatives: The Widsith, Solar Pearl, Dodoco Tales

Sangonomiya Kokomi

Sangonomiya Kokomi

Kokomi is a 5-star hydro character specializing in healing abilities. Her abilities can provide off-field healing and hydro application at the same time. However, one of her passive, Flawless strategy gives her -100% CRIT Rate, which makes building CRIT Rate on her worthless.

Lost Prayers to the Sacred Winds is a weapon with CRIT Rate secondary stat, and on a character like Kokomi, using this weapon is wasting its stat bonus. I’d instead advise you to use a weapon that provides team support capabilities.

  • 4-star weapon alternatives: Prototype Amber, Hakushin Ring, Sacrificial Fragments

Sucrose

Sucrose

Sucrose is a 4-star anemo user who specializes in providing an Elemental Mastery bonus to her team. She’s preferred as support in most team compositions and can be extremely useful in boosting elemental reaction damage.

You can use lost Prayers to the Sacred Winds on her if you want to use her as an Anemo damage dealer. But, I’ll advise you to build her, focusing on boosting her overall Elemental Mastery. That way, you’ll be able to trigger insane elemental reaction damage and even one shot some enemies.

  • 4-star weapon alternatives:  Sacrificial Fragments, Favonius Codex, Mappa Mare

Yae Miko

Yae Miko

Yae Miko is a 5-star electro character specializing in acting as both an off-field damage dealer and a burst damage dealer.

By using her skill which has three charges, she can place three totems dealing electro damage and dealing a good amount of damage in her burst. Lost Prayers to the Sacred Winds will offer a CRIT rate on her, and with CRIT DMG goblet on her artifacts, you can pump out a decent amount of damage.

However, keep her energy recharge in check to compensate for the high burst energy cost.

  • 4-star weapon alternatives: The Widsith, Solar Pearl, Oathsworn Eye

Yanfei

Yanfei

Yanfei is a 4-star pyro character specializing in dealing with ranged pyro damage to characters. Unlike Klee, where your regular attacks are in melee range, Yanfei’s attacks can go further. So, if you’re someone who prefers to play from far, Yanfie would be a better option.

Lost Prayers to the Sacred Winds can be used on her, which will make her your primary damage dealer. She can benefit from vapourising compositions with hydro characters and get a boost in dealing damage to enemies.

  • 4-star weapon alternatives: Dodoco Tales, The Widsith, Mappa Mare

Final Thoughts on Characters

Now, it may be possible some other weapon could be better in specific team composition. However, I’ve given my remarks on how I approach building these characters and the weapons I prefer to use. I’ll recommend you experiment with team composition and see which weapon suits your playstyle.

Also, if you’re looking for weapon comparison, I recommend you check character-specific guides. That way, you’ll be able to learn more about the characters and choose a suitable artifact according to your team composition.

FAQs

Let’s go over a few questions that you may have after reading this guide

Question: How Good are CRIT Rate Weapons in General?

Answer: I’ll say they’re super good when dealing damage to enemies. Especially when you equip CRIT rate weapons on your main damage dealers, that’s where their maximum potential comes out. Also, there aren’t many weapons in Genshin Impact that offer a CRIT rate. Most of them are a higher rarity or battle pass weapons.

So, if you’re a free-to-play player, you should keep refinements of 3-star weapons like Harbinger of dawn or White tassel, which offers either CRIT ratios in their substats. But, as you’ll stick long enough in-game and wish more on banners, I’m sure you’ll be able to get powerful weapons. I’ve been playing long enough and able to get a few 5-star weapons in my free-to-play account.

Question: Do I need 5-star Weapons to Clear In-Game Content Like Spiral Abyss?

Answer: No, you don’t necessarily need 5-star weapons to clear end-game content. You can beat most of the content with available 4-star weapon options and eventually clear spiral abyss as well.

However, 5-star weapons are a massive damage boost compared to 4-star counterparts. So, if you’re planning to 36-star the abyss, then you may need to invest quite heavily in your characters.

Also, if you have extra constellations unlocked on your characters, then that’s cheery on top! Because constellations boost a character to damage or give additional perks to their kit.

So, even if you don’t have a 5-star weapon, 4-star weapons are also good when refined and have constellations on characters. Chances are, you’ll be able to even 36-star the spiral abyss.

Question: I Want a CRIT Rate Weapon. Should I Purchase a Battle Pass to Get One?

Answer: Battlepass weapons feature CRIT rate as their secondary stat, and they can significantly help your main damage dealers. I’ll say if you have some spare bucks, then go for battle pass purchase. You don’t have to purchase Gnostic Chorus, instead purchase Gnostic Hymm, which is comparatively cheaper.

Both versions of battle pass offer battle pass weapons at level 30, so you’ll be able to get them anyways. So, having at least one copy of each battle pass weapon will help you in the longer run. But, I’ll recommend you purchase only if you don’t have any other options.

Closing Remarks

Lost Prayers to the Sacred Winds is a great weapon for primary damage dealer roles and provides passive offensive benefits. Players can take advantage of its CRIT rate secondary stat value and position their characters thanks to movement speed boost from passive.

So, if you’re a catalyst main and looking to use a weapon to deal a decent amount of damage, Lost Prayers to the Sacred Winds should be your choice.

Since launch, I’ve been playing Genshin Impact and can vouch you’ll be spending quite a time farming for different materials. Most of the things in Genshin Impact require players to farm for a specific material, and weapons are no exception.

Even for ascending weapons, you’ll need to farm their ascension material. So, keep an eye on your inventory items if you’re planning to ascend Lost Prayers to the Sacred Winds weapon.

I hope you learned something new from this guide and will choose the best for your characters. If you’re looking for weapons comparison on different characters, I’ll recommend you to go through character-specific guides. I wish you luck on your Genshin journey and hope you get better drops from banners!
