Cecilia Garden Genshin Impact Guide

Genshin Impact is a vast game that features a caveat of weapons that unique Genshin characters can equip depending on the weapon type. The game features an ascension mechanic that allows players to upgrade their weapons and use ores to level them up. These weapons come in specific rarities that consume more ascension materials, focusing more on farming the materials. Since its launch, I’ve played Genshin Impact and lost count of how many times I went to Cecilia garden.

As you progress through adventure ranks, stack primogems, and wish on banners, you will get weapons requiring certain ascension materials. Some will require other weapon ascension materials, while others will require materials from Cecilia garden. Cecilia garden is one of the most essential domains because you need to level up your weapons to progress through the game’s content.

Without further ado, let’s begin our Cecilia Garden Genshin Impact guide by learning more about Cecilia garden and its intricate details that will help you unlock this domain and clear out enemies you will face inside.

Cecilia Garden

Cecilia Garden is located near the Wolvendom area near the farthest teleport point. The unique thing about this domain is that it can help you reach Andrius faster than other teleport points.

You can say unlocking this domain has its additional benefit of letting you reach the weekly boss faster than other teleport points, especially near the boss.

Teleporting there will need you to climb a mountain cliff to reach the boss, which takes much more time than is just running towards the boss from Cecilia garden domain.

Every time I had to fight Andrius, I teleport to Cecilia garden and make a run for the boss’s spawn place. I used to climb the wall near the teleport point. After reading a Reddit post about how teleporting to Cecilia garden is time-efficient, I began my journey from Cecilia garden.

The domain features a variety of weapon ascension materials, and you need to use them from time to time on different weapons.

Let’s go through the walkthrough to unlock this domain to experience what the domain is like.

Walkthrough

You’ll locate Cecilia garden domain on your map and navigate to it. To unlock the domain, you need to light up 2 totems and help 4 seelies reach their Seelie holders.

Let’s go over each Seelie one by one to better understand what I’m trying to convey. I’ve marked the Seelie locations and gone over them in steps.

The first one is near three hilichurls watching it and having shields and wooden clubs. You can either follow the order I’ve listed or approach the puzzle just in a random order like I used to do when I was in the early game.

Glide over to them and defeat them; mind that Pyro hilichurl berserker will come at you, so you have to defeat four hilichurls. You can use the main characters’ abilities to easily group them and deal damage with a pyro infusion.

My first character was Sucrose, so I used her elemental skill to group these hilicurls and vanished them instantly.

Wanna know my secret tip to deal better damage in the early game? Level up your weapons and characters to their maximum level per your world level.

Since the game’s beginning, I’ve been following this and can clear any content the game offers. Feel free to use any characters to defeat these monsters because they don’t have any high resistance abilities.

The Second Seelie is near the holders, where you will see the holder covered in small rocks. You can simply use sword attacks or claymore attacks to deplete its health and just touch the Seelie to place itself in the holder. It’s visible near the totem, and you don’t have to do any gimmicks to settle it down.

I had Noelle from the beginner’s banner and used her Claymore attacks to break the rock structure. I prefer to use Claymore characters because Claymore attacks are considered blunt attacks and good for breaking rocks..

With two seelies places, now comes the third one. You will also notice another group of hilichurls with anemo samachurl guarding a chest. You can easily use anemo main character elemental skill to group them up and infuse them with Pyro.

It’s easy to get pyro infusion on your anemo abilities because there are light torches nearby. After defeating them, you can head over to the totem nearby, protected by an anemo windshield

Whenever I go to the Cecilia garden or teleport there to make a run to Andrius’ location, I have this hunch to wipe out hilichurls in the area and collect their materials. I mean, you never know when you need to have a couple of ascension materials.. Now, you have two choices to light up this totem. Either anemo main characters’ elemental skill or apply anemo just in the vicinity of the totem, and it will activate.

Or, you can glide from the walls near it and drop inside to apply anemo to the totem. You can easily light up the anemo totem with whichever method works.

Most of the time, I prefer to activate the totems in a usual way and not try to follow extra steps. Given the amount of early game content in the game, I had this feeling to complete the content and start investing in my characters..

The fourth and last Seelie is hidden in nearby rocks. To find the rocks, you can use elemental sight to see an outgoing wave animation that leads to the direction of the seelie.

Follow the seelie’s wave animation, and you will see four carrots, don’t worry; seelie won’t come after collecting carrots, but if you want to get another chest, then collecting all four carrots will spawn a common chest. Free primogems are always welcomed. You will see a fake rock area near a few electro crystals visible within the normal environment. You can also use elemental sight to confirm it.

Again, either uses normal attacks to deplete the rocks’ health, and it’ll get destroyed, revealing a hidden seelie. Interact with the seelie and follow it to its place.

Whenever I’m going through an area, I like to use the elemental sight to watch out for hidden rocks. Who knows, you may find a chest or a missing seelie for a puzzle. So, look out for these structures and break them to see what they hold..

All the seelies will be placed in their respective holders, and you will see the anemo totem unlocked. And you can apply anemo to it to summon the Cecilia garden domain from the ground.

A small cutscene will play where the Cecilia garden domain will rise from the ground and appear.

I’ll be honest; I love the short cutscenes that play when you unlock a particular domain, creating memorable core moments..

I would say it’s fascinating that you get to experience hidden domains at the starting of the game that prepares you for upcoming content. Another domain where you have to collect seelies is the Crimson witch domain, summoning it from the ground.

There are many in-game domains where you have to do larger puzzles or unlock hidden dungeons, and we will go through each of those domains in our guides. For now, let’s go over Cecilia Gardens’ domain types.

Domain of Forgery

Massive amounts of hydro energy are coursing through this damp ancient sacrificial altar. The intense humidity inside will increase your skill’s cooldown duration. You shall earn weapon ascension materials if you can pass the trial.

Leyline Disorder: Your character will be periodically inflicted with slowing water, significantly increasing your skill’s cooldown until the inflicted hydro element is removed.

Altar of Falls

Altar of Falls domain type is available on Sunday. You can choose any of the above domain types to initiate and obtain their respective rewards. All three domains, City of reflections, Submerged Valley, and Ruins of Thirsting Capital, are simultaneously available.

The best way to farm on Sunday is to stock up condensed resin for a few days and utilize it in the Altar of falls to stack up ascension materials in a farming session. You can co-op with your in-game friends and join your world to initiate the domain and farm materials for yourself.

I personally like to do this and have the task over in one go. You may need more materials for 5-star weapons to schedule some extra time to get that weapon’s material on its run day. In the end, weapons are vital to Genshin’s combat system. You should pay attention to them as you pay attention to your characters.

A few questions

Question: When will I be able to enter Cecilia garden domain?

Answer: You can unlock the domain at any adventure level, but to access it, you need to have at least adventure level 16. I’d recommend you unlock this domain as you unlock a statue of seven and teleport points across the map. When I started the game, I roamed around the areas and tried to unlock as many teleport points as possible. Unlocking the area will help you travel faster across the region.

You will be able to farm primogems from chests. The best thing about unlocking this domain is that you can reach wolf boss quicker and complete your weekly challenge. Also, you get to prepare for upcoming domains that will feature similar puzzles to this one and have a mesmerizing experience.

Most of the time, I teleport to this domain to make a run for the weekly boss, Andrius. Sometimes, I may need a specific weapon ascension material, and I visit this domain. So, I highly recommend you unlock all the domains and teleport points for flexibility in traveling distances.

Question: Do I need to pay attention to enemies in this domain? What is your way to clear this domain?

Answer: Large Hydro slimes and Hydro abyss mages have a hydro aura that will summon bubbles around your character to entrap you. Often, you get affected by the Hydro aura, and your skill cooldown will increase after use, making the combat difficult. Whenever I’m playing this domain, I use catalyst characters like Klee, Ningguang, or Lisa to not depend on elemental abilities to easily break shields.

If you are entrapped in a bubble, you can press the space bar to get out of the bubble and continue the combat. Another team composition I like to run is full Cryo composition with Rosaria, Chongyun, Kaeya, and Sucrose to freeze the enemies. Chongyun’s elemental skill helps you infuse your normal attacks with Cryo, and you can constantly keep enemies frozen. I don’t like to run a combination of Hydro and Electro because I can get stun-locked in the process, and Abyss mage will not let me go of bubbles.

Question: I don’t have all my characters leveled up. What should I do?

Answer: It may happen in the early game that you are low on resources or prioritize other characters to level up. This is where Genshin’s co-op mode comes into play to help you join randoms or friends to complete a specific domain. You will see a match option when entering a domain, and you can invite your friends or join their worlds in a co-op. Keep in mind that you cannot co-op in a world on a higher level than yours, so confirm your friends’ world level in advance.

As for random co-op mode, you will find teammates willing to do the same domain and help you clear it with them. A lot of times, I wanted to clear a domain, and randoms helped me do that domain 5-6 times in a row. Farming becomes better in rewards as you level up your world level to stack fragile resins for intense farming sessions. Many players farm heavily after reaching Adventure rank 45, so if you want to be one of them, stack those fragile resins in your inventory.

Final Thoughts

Cecilia garden is one of the earliest domains you will get access to. You will frequently visit it to collect ascension materials for your weapons. I highly recommend you level up your weapons as they will help you deal better damage to the enemies and steer clear through even the game’s end-game content.

As you ascend weapons, their secondary stats will also get a boost that will help you benefit from boosted stats like CRIT rate, energy recharge, and so on. Weapons as essential to Genshin’s combat design and helps you to form optimal team compositions.

I even went today to Cecilia garden domain to collect weapon ascension material and level up some of my weapons. I mean, I don’t like to fight abyss mages and get affected with Hydro auras and have a higher cooldown on my characters. But, there’s not much I can do because I’m already an end-game player. But it is what it is, it’s fun to run full cryo teams once in a while, and I drop to Cecilia garden.

With that, the time has come to leave and meet you in another exciting guide. Adios! Till we meet next time!
