There are many adorable companions in Genshin Impact that can accompany you through your journey across Teyvat, but even with the cute pixels by your side, it can get a little lonely in the real world during your late-night gaming sessions. In my professional opinion, the only way to fix this problem is through snuggle therapy with some of the finest Genshin Impact plushies you can buy. No, I will not go outside!
Most of the plushies on this list are from the Genshin Impact flagship store, which acts as a third-party seller connecting the rest of the world to some of the awesome merch available in Asia. Though there are many other places online where you can find Genshin Impact plushies, the ones from this store are by far the most reliable and the highest quality, so if you’re looking to purchase the best Genshin Impact plush that you can love for longer, the flagship store is your best bet!
My favorite Genshin Impact plush has to be the Giant Zhongli Rex Lapis Plush. Being a giant plush, it’s a little more expensive, but it’s the perfect size for snuggling and is oh so soft! I love that Rex Lapis (Zhongli’s dragon form) gets a plush, especially because when we last saw him in Liyue, he was far from being in a huggable state (putting it lightly). I think Rex Lapis was a unique choice for a plush, but his sleepy curled up position is perfect for both displays and cuddles, making him the best of the best!
What Makes a Plush the Best Plush?
Whilst I can appreciate that some people probably won’t be curling up to their plushies at night and will instead want to display them, in my eyes, a plushie has to be huggable! This may seem obvious, but there’s a surprising amount of plushies out there that just don’t hug very well. Whether it’s scratchy fabric or tough stuffing, I need my plushies to be squishable and not hard!
Plushies also need to be durable. Fabric based merch will always show its age worse than plastic or metal merch, so it’s important that a plush is up to the task of being dragged around, squeezed within an inch of its life, or at least have the capability to gather dust in style.
Finally, these Genshin Impact plushies need to accurately represent Genshin Impact! Even if the plushie is of a less recognized character (like Rex Lapis or Childe’s Narwhal, to an extent), it still needs to be noticeably Genshin enough to be considered merch. No generic slime plushies here, thank you very much!
Giant Zhongli Rex Lapis Plush
I’ve owned this plush for a hot minute now, and I absolutely adore it. It’s joined me on adventures to and from university for the last couple of years, has been played with and snuggled by my younger family members, and has even survived a vicious dog attack! Okay, maybe less vicious and more playful, but I digress. This plush has been through a lot, and it looks no worse for wear for it.
It’s so soft, and the curled up shape makes it perfect for snuggling at night, and as someone who has always hugged the blanket at night, the fact that I can also cuddle Rex Lapis is a real victory!
- Super soft and snuggly
- Its curled up shape makes it perfect for a cuddle!
- Rex Lapis is not as recognizable as his counterpart Zhongli, but I think he’s much cuter!
Giant Childe Narwhal Plush
If you were to ask me which creature from Genshin Impact I’d most like to hug, Childe’s Narwhal would probably be pretty low down on that list. But this plush is super cute and so huggable! It’s another giant plush, so it will probably take up a good chunk of space on your bed, but because this plushie is much rounder than the giant rex Lapis plush, I think it would make an amazing pillow. I think that’s much better than running away from it as you bully Childe in his Trounce Domain for the 5th time that week.
- Soft and round, so would make a fantastic pillow
- Giant plushes are always more satisfying to hug
- The horn may get in the way
- Childe’s Narwhal is the last Genshin Impact creature I’d expect to get a plush, but I love him anyway
Genshin Impact Slime Plushies
While these plushies are considerably smaller than the previous entries on this list, they are just as cute and are perfect for someone who is short on display space! These slime plushies come in every flavor of slime, all the way from Anemo to Pyro, with each element featuring its own unique expression. I absolutely love these little guys, and they’ll make a great accessory to any display, bedspread, or even cosplay.
- Plenty of variety in the types of slime
- All these slimes are certified Genshin Impact mobs, and they’re adorable!
- These plushies are quite small, so they may not be as squishy as others
- If you’re a completionist, one of these plushies just won’t be enough.
Ambers Baron Bunny Plush
I think at some point whilst playing Genshin Impact, everyone has wanted to give Amber’s Baron Bunny a squeeze right up until it explodes in your face, that is. Everyone’s favorite outrider best pal has a super cute plush! This plushie is made out of and stuffed with cotton, making it nice and soft (and machine washable!)
It’s also a very nice size, and if I were able to scale the in game dimensions properly to real life, I would go as far as to say it’s a life size replica of Baron Bunny! If you want to cosplay Amber, or if you just want a super cute plush to distract people, then this one is a must have!
- This Baron Bunny is 100% cotton, so it can be washed easily
- Seems to be as close to a life size replica of Baron Bunny as we can get right now
- Unlike the real Baron Bunny, this one probably won’t explode on you
- This is not produced by a company affiliated with HoYoverse, which could mean a slightly lower quality
No journey to Inazuma would be complete without a visit to the Komore Teahouse for a bite to eat and, of course, to say hi to everyone’s favorite barkeep and resident good-boy Taroumaru. Don’t let the magic end there, either!
With this plush, you’ll be able to pet Taroumaru whenever your heart desires, and its fine velvet fabric will ensure that every pet is as soft as butter!
With this cute little teahouse owner by your side, your tea will always be sweet, and your snuggle cravings will always be satisfied. What more could you want while you rush through the latest Genshin Impact event?
- Taroumaru is definitely one of the cutest choices to be made into a plushie!
- Being made of a fine velvet fabric is a unique choice that stands out from other plushies
- His towel headband is made from an actual towel
- Because of the velvet, you will need to be careful if the day ever comes when Taroumaru needs a bath
- The website says it’s still preorders only, though I’m not sure how accurate this is
Sayu’s Daruma Plushie
I have a huge soft spot for Sayu. I think she’s super cute, and I love it when she tries to hide for a nap in her Daruma form. This makes this Daruma plush the perfect naptime buddy! This plushie is maybe a borderline pillow, but I think that it just adds to the appeal.
Not only is Daruma good for restoring health and dealing a bit of damage, but now you can use it to support your head while you catch some well deserved “Z’s.” You have to grow taller somehow. It’s what Sayu would want!
Alatus Xiao Plushie
Seeing this plush came as a surprise to me, as I didn’t expect to ever see Xiao reimagined. Alatus, Xiaos Adeptus name, never really hit me as being a chunky and adorable bird, yet here we are. I absolutely adore him.
This plush comes in two different sizes, aptly named “small” and “large,” with the small one coming in at a cute little handful and the large one being a decent enough size to become your new pillow.
These plushies are stuffed to the brim with polyester fiber, so for all you squishmallow lovers out there, this will feel almost identical. Xiao said we just had to call his name, and he’d be there, so call him down for maybe one of the best hugs of your life.
- It is made from the same stuff as squishmallows, so it’s irresistibly squishy
- Two size options are available, so any budget can have a squishy Xiao
- These are still only available for preorders, so you may have to wait until you can receive yours
Genshin Impact Slime Dessert Plushies
What better way to round off this list than with dessert? These Slime Dessert plushies look good enough to eat and are great for any fan who wants to stand out from the crowd. Like the other slime plushies on this list, each element is represented here, including the mutated electro slime (that’s the yellow electro slime for anyone like me who didn’t know that that was what they were called).
Not only are all of the slimes here, but each slime has found itself cooked into its own dessert! From pies to strawberry shortcakes, Xiangling would be proud! My personal favorite of this collection has to be the hydro slime. I mean, he has a mustache and an ice cream scoop hat! What’s not to love?
- The dessert twist is a unique touch to an otherwise monotonous plush
- Plenty of variety for anyone with a sweet tooth
- Even the yellow electro slime gets a plushie
- These plushies are really small
- These are probably going to look the best only when you have the complete set, which can get expensive
Frequently Asked Questions
Question: Why are most of these choices from Genshin.shop?
Answer: Genshin.shop is one of the most reliable third party retailers for Genshin Impact merch out there. It’s a flagship store distributing merch from Genshin Impact to the west, and though you can definitely find some of these plushies elsewhere online, I’ve tried to get as close to the horse’s mouth as possible to give you the best chance of getting the greatest plush.
Question: What is the best material for my plush to be made out of?
Answer: This is a tricky one, and you should do your own research to find what will best suit you, as different materials have different needs. For example, a 100% cotton plush will be easier to wash if it gets dirty but may not feel as high quality as the velvet plushes.
The polyester fiber plushes (think Squishmallows) will feel incredibly soft and squishy but is more prone to absorbing anything it comes into contact with. You need to figure out what you want from a plush and whether the material works best for your needs.
Question: Just how giant are these Giant Plushies?
Answer: The Giant plushies vary between themselves in size, but the Xiao Plushie measures 45 by 40 by 40 centimeters, The Rex Lapis plush is 67 by 24 by 17 centimeters, and Childe’s Narwhal is a whopping 70 by 40 by 25 centimeters. To give a rough visual, Xiao is the roundest, Childe’s Narwhal is the biggest overall, and Rex Lapis fits nicely in between.
There are lots of Genshin Impact plushies fighting for your love, and whether you love cute teahouse owner Shiba Inus, slimes that will give you cavities, or a giant narwhal who is usually trying to squish you, there really is something for everyone to get you through those pangs of Genshin withdrawal.
Hopefully, this guide will have given you a head start in finding the right squishable companion for your needs, and though there are many other Genshin Impact plushies out there, these are by far the best of the best. Now, if you don’t mind, I’m going to go give my Rex Lapis plush a long hug.
